Ok so here's a quick rundown of what Conversational Hypnosis is.

Conversational Hypnosis;

The human brain operates in four states, the conscious state, the hypnotic state, dream state, and sleep state. During all these states, there is electrical activity generated by the chemicals in the neural pathways. Depending on the frequency and the intensity of the electrical activity, the brain can be considered to be in any one of the above-mentioned states.

The conscious state is characterized by high level of electrical activity and the individual is more alert and attentive. The individual uses logic to reason, to assess, evaluate, and make judgment and decisions. However, the conscious state often gets in the way of making life- changing decisions.

In the hypnotic state, the mind is in a state when the conscious and the sub-conscious are active and the individual’s ability to recall memories and store new information is at its highest. In the hypnotic state, the individual takes in information without being critical or judgmental. Hypnotic state also enables the individual to discard the traditional way of thinking and information is more likely to stick as the conscious state is out of the way.

In short, the hypnotic state can be defined as the altered state of consciousness, in which bypassing critical faculty enables acceptable selective thinking. In our day-to-day life, we go through all the four states of consciousness in a cyclical manner without realizing it.

Conversational hypnosis is also known as “covert hypnosis” . It is a process, in which the subject's focus is narrowed down, while bypassing his/her critical faculty. In Conversational Hypnosis the subject’s eyes are open and the subject is fully conscious.

The subject implements the suggestions without being aware of his or her hypnotic state, therefore creating a change in the individual, in a completely unconscious way.

Before concluding the final part of Conversational Hypnosis, I'd just like to mention that I have a six part mini course, plus a newsletter series that I highly recommended you get a copy of, it's free of course, and you can get access right now below.

Conversational hypnosis involves a series of steps, in which different verbal and nonverbal techniques are used. The subject’s cooperation is required to attain desired results. The results depend largely on the skills of the hypnotist and the willingness of the subject. In some cases, carefully selected words in the right tone and backed by the right body language are sufficient to induce a person into a hypnotic state.

Conversational hypnosis helps a person to arrive at certain conclusions and make positive decisions to change the situation, they are in.
