Subliminal messages are embedded messages that are designed to pass below the normal limits of perception, and mind control subliminal advertising work well in this area. These messages are not always recognized by everyone in the conscious state of mind. Even so, sometimes it affects the subconscious mind and later on reflects in one’s action or attitude.

When subliminal messages are used for advertising they are usually in the form of visual or audio messages to which your mind may not react instantly, but some do pick them up consciously and provide stimulus to an action at a later stage.

There are a few marketing agencies that insert such messages to mark an influence on the audience and as a result there is an overwhelming response if the message is received and understood correctly. This adds potential benefit, through the subliminal advertisement. These are usually created to target the audience to choose one brand from another and to convince them about the product from the depth of understanding. But this may not create actual need for the product.

These aspects of subconscious mind make subliminal advertising, a force to counter with when it comes to convincing people about a product.

Psychologists such as Freud and Jung have conducted experiments where it has been proved that subliminal messages can create quantifiable results. The best possible way to control the technical and ethical legalities involved is releasing the potential of subliminal advertising, and to apply regulatory systems that are geared towards the functional control of the power behind subliminal advertising.  But it is not necessary that subliminal advertising will involve unseen messages, it could be done through various means.
